Asynchronous notifications

Hi everyone,

I have another novelty in my bag of tricks

Asynchronous notifications...

It means that notifications...

...are determined after the page has loaded (which slightly speeds up the loading of forum pages as well).

The main benefit is that they are now automatically refreshed

For example, sometimes while you're writing a message, you'll see a (1) appear on its own

No need to refresh the page from time to time to see if there are notifications.

If you have notifications, the tab name is also updated (and some browsers also display a colored circle):

You can also see the (1) at the bottom if the tab is active:

The script will check for new messages every minute to start with, then gradually reduce the pace if you are not active.

A little bonus for Premium members who support the site, their refresh rate is 2x faster

However, these values may change in the future.
